Position Purpose
IRP team is a centralized team with a set of experts, across all IRP end to end streams starting from Acquisition, Calculation and Reporting (Static and Dynamic). The core activity lies in handling day-to-day live production queries/issues. The role is diverse, demands the ability and expertise of client reporting and performance functions. The individual will be responsible for both the production and delivery of various lines of financial reports such as Accounting Reports, Investment Reports, Performance Reports, Risk Reports, and Attribution etc. The role majorly requires timely and prompt coordination and communication with various stakeholders spread across the globe (UK/AU/EU/SG/US) such as Operations, IT Service Delivery and IT Development teams.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
·Manage various database environment to maintain high availability.
·Monitoring database health and take appropriate action whenever needed to maintain it in good shape.
·Explore database new features and Study best-applicable implementation to be apply on the project (e.g. technical POC).
·Challenge and review the coding activities of the development team.
·Organize part of the peer-review activities during the lifecycle of the project.
·Keeps the development team up to date about the database best practices and in-site feedbacks.
·SQL Performance tuning.
·Create primary database storage structures, designing and creating primary objects, modifying database structure as necessary for enhancements or performance,
·Creating documentation, designing interfaces, database objects, and creating plans.
·Monitor and optimize performance of the database.
·Plan for backup and recovery of the database and allocate system storage and plan future storage needs.
·Create database-related scripts and programs to support development and production environments.
·Research, evaluate, design, test, recommend, and plan implementation of new or improved RDBMS, ETL and database tools.

·Expertise in Database like Oracle / SQL /PL/SQL and Unix.
·Oracle database skills are mandatory.
·Major experience of SQL and PL/SQL development.
·Expertise in writing complex SQL query.
·SQL Performance Tuning (Mandatory).
