- Since 2015, BNP Paribas Wealth Management has a competence center in Lisbon (PIMH = Portugal International Markets Hub) to manage activities for several locations (Switzerland, Luxemburg, Germany, Monaco)
- As a Senior ESG (Environmental Social and Governance) Data Analyst, you will play a key role in the Sustainability Office’s data management and analysis efforts. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement and manage our ESG rating models across all asset classes of the Wealth Management offering
- In this position you have the chance to work with various datasets from internal and external data providers to define and elaborate on new methodologies assessing E,S and G risks and opportunities. This position will allow you to interact with the portfolio managers and other business-related stakeholders and with the IT and quantitative teams
Your Main Activities Are
- Help automatizing workflows and discover new interesting trends in our investment universes across asset classes (equities, bonds, funds, among others) for research and marketing material
- Elaborate on new and existing rating methodologies in line with regulatory requirements and business views
- Interact with the various investment teams on their needs and feedback related to ESG data and ratings
- Test and verify data quality and consistency to maintain high standards
- Develop new ESG features, such as thematic labelling of investment products and reporting dashboards
- Collaborate with internal clients to understand their needs and work on future improvements of the ESG rating system and of the ESG data tool
- Create a strong Business – IT relationship
- Responsible for ad-hoc requests
Profile and Skills to Success
- Master degree in Data Science, Finance, Computer Science or related field
- At least 4 years of Experience in Data Analytics and/or Project Management
- Proficiency in Python
- Proficiency in English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop and adapt a process
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and teamwork abilities
- Highly organized and with the ability to handle several topics at the same time
- Rigorous and autonomous
About the Team
- You will be part of the Sustainability Office of Wealth Management. We are a dynamic team of five people bringing together Responsible Investment (RI) and CSR, which works on developing and promoting the offer of responsible products, as well as leading the transformation of the business to integrate social and environmental impact
- To do this, you will be in contact with various players within the business (IT, product teams, advisory management, discretionary management) and the Group (e.g. BNPP AM, Cardif, CIB, Corporate Engagement, among others), and will be able to support the integration of ESG data into business processes and systems, for internal teams and for clients
- You will be required to work in a constantly evolving, transversal and international context
