Senior Business Analyst – Peoplesoft and HR Applications

Position Purpose
As the senior business analyst in the team, you will be a role model for a dynamic team delivering high quality solutions. You will play a crucial role in aligning standards and processes across a global team working on multiple applications. The role requires significant collaboration with a variety of stakeholders from business users, developers, architects, security, and production support teams.
Direct Responsibilities
- Work closely with Product Owners to plan, prioritizebacklogs and manage release contents.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their true business needs and define business requirements using the BNPP Agile framework.
- Manage the appropriate agile ceremonies;common standards across all relevant teams, sprint and release planning, backlog refinement to ensure well-groomed backlogs.
- Mentor and coach junior Business Analysts on agile and Scrum practices, Review QA test plans.
- Prepare EPIC and User Story requirements with a focus on documented acceptance criteria.
- Connecting with HR business stakeholders to understand the business problem, strategy, constraints,and work collaboratively to deliver a roadmap that ensures the overall HR vision met
- Creating Requirement Specifications in the form of user stories, for HR Applications in scope like Peoplesoft HR/Cloud HCM, Payroll, Absence, Skills, Expense, L&D, Compensationetc.
- Document Functional specifications, processes, acceptance criteria and use cases
- Able to provide feasible and logical solutions to the complex problems.
- Participate in Functional HRIS activities, including process definition and design, documentation, configuration, application testing, as well as some project management and internal communication activities as needed.
- Conduct gap analysis, provide impact assessments, and make recommendations that offer workable, efficient options to users.
- Ensure requirements and specifications documentation reach signoff and validate deliverables to specifications.
- Drive UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance signoff
Contributing Responsibilities
- Participate in Design discussions, test, and maintainHR applications, including customizations and enhancements.
- Recommend changes to current processes to provide more effective use of the HRIS, and take the lead to implement these changes.
- Provide support for HCM, including researching and resolving system issues, unexpected results, or process flaws; recommending solutions or alternative methods to meet requirements.
- Developuser procedures, guidelines, and documentation; train clients on new processes/functionality; and train new system users.
- Liaise with Dev and APS team to maintain and implement mandatory changes for IT infrastructure
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- 10+ Years techno functionalexperience as Product Owner in PeopleSoft HCM implementation, upgrades, enhancement, and production support.
- 5+ Years experience in BFSI domain HRMS solutioning.
- Experience with HR Applications preferably PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 and 9.2 modules: HR Core, Self-service, Absence management, Recruiting, Payroll & Benefit solutions.
- Proficiency in People Tools 9.x, People Code, PS query, BI publisher, SQR and Reporting tools.
- Understanding of inbound & outbound interfaces using Application engine & File layouts.
- Hands–on experience ondeveloping Payroll Interfaces, QA/UAT management, Solution design, Requirement gathering& Client communication.
- Good Analytical skills – Quick to simplify complex topics.
- Experience and knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
- Experience in both OnPrem and Cloud systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic understanding of network and application security (Authentication, Encryption, SSO etc..)
- Understanding of technology obsolescence, vulnerabilities, compliance risk, application inventory including DR, RTO/RPO etc.
