FXMM Derivative Back Office is responsible for the day-to-day settlement for Derivative products and Money Market. Team operates in close collaboration with marketers, sales and other internal function teams (APAC & EMEA..) to offer client-first post trade services. Team member is generally assigned with two or three Markets.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced FXMM & OTC Derivatives Manager to join our BNP Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for 100% BAU working day-to-day operations of our FXMM and OTC derivatives business, ensuring that all trades are- processed are efficient, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements. Practical knowledge and thorough understanding of various types of financial instruments (equities, bonds, ETD/OTC derivatives, corporate actions)
Key Responsibilities:
- To Process payment for Value date and Value date -1, ensure all the payment are cleared.
- To Create Manual Payment and able to Authorize value payment from SWIFT Alliance
- Ensure that all Corporate/Inter-bank trades are processed and approved in a timely manner
- Trade Settlement with onshore/offshore clients
- Review critical control reports for manual settlement or processing;
- Perform EOD reconciliations
- Cash management related with funding trades.
- Have knowledge about MT103, MT202 Payment and MTMX Messages.
- Troubleshoot potential operational problems and resolve issues
- Assist with other staff members in the daily operation requirements
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including traders, sales, and risk management
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations, with at least 5 years in FXMM and OTC derivatives
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams of at least 5 people
- Excellent knowledge of FXMM and OTC derivatives products and processes
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Experience with operations technology and systems is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field
