LRRS Senior Product Owner/Project Manager BNP Paribas

ITTF - FDS – Local Regulatory Reporting Solutions – Product Owner / Project Manager

MISSION OF LRRS:

  • Lead the Local Regulatory Reporting (LRR) stream of the OFS migrations.
  • Design and build systems & solutions for LRR Finance processes & users.
  • Rationalize the existing systems & solutions inherited from multiple local and regional initiatives.
  • Support, run and administer the LRR systems & solutions.
  • Manage incidents of the LRR systems & solutions.
  • Ensure communication with users and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the training and change management of the Finance users.
  • Strive to continuously improve the service provided by LRRS by tracking inefficiencies within LRRS and contributing to review Finance LRR processes.
  • Implement the new ITTF framework and in particular agile @scale methodology and collaborative cross stream fertilization.

Concerning the EMEA region, a dedicated LRRS team is set up in the ITTF EMEA Hub. The analyst position is part of that team.

The ITTF EMEA Hub operates as a service center providing resources and expertise to deliver tasks and projects prioritized by ITTF On-Shore stakeholders. The ITTF EMEA hub itself is hosted within the Infinity Platform and covers Lisbon, Porto & Madrid Locations.

The ITTF EMEA Hub operates under the “Extended Team” model encompassing a clearly defined functional reporting line for each team to on-shore Managers who supervise the activities performed.

Be part of Local Regulatory Reporting Solutions team is being able to:

  • Design, develop and maintains Local Regulatory Reporting solutions: LRR International (WKFS, CoreLRR, Report Generator, Local tools)
  • Deploy LRR solution project for international entities: CIB/BP2S EMEA, APAC, AMER 

As a Project Manager senior, your main tasks include: 

  • Scoping of the project
  • Costing of the project 
  • Building the planning of the project taking into account multiple interdependencies between streams, other projects and teams.
  • Monitoring the planning taking into account the Global roadmap with the relevant Project Managers / PMO at central level.
  • Contributing to the business requirements and the solution design
  • Producing the IT documentation for instruction of the project by the FRESH Architects and so as to obtain their approval to launch the project
  • Organizing the deployment and the aftercare of the solution
  • Producing KPIs to communicate on the status of the project
  • Managing escalation to management & sponsors when required.
  • Managing risks
  • Organizing the governance of the project considering the relevant forums within the bank based on the target audience (internal meetings, client committees, management committees, etc.), 
  • Preparing the relevant documentation to present to each set of stakeholders the status of project on a recurrent basis.
  • Producing the minutes of each Committee as well as the follow-up of the action logs.

As a Senior Product Owner, you will: 

  • Becoming the main interlocutor for Local Finance.
  • Identify the needs of your entities and anticipate within your squad.
  • Produce the Operational Committee with relevant information to keep your CFOs informed and aligned.
  • Prioritize the workload inside your squad according to your Local demands. 

REQUIREMENTS

A mission within ITTF EMEA hub provides a large view of the international footprint of IT functions, as well as developing the network outside France. It helps also to understand the business model of BNP Paribas in EMEA countries, Spain being one of the largest branches of BNP Paribas with around 5000 employees in the country and diversified set of business lines and functions 

Being part of LRRS will offer you a close collaboration with the Local Finance (CFO, Financial controller) and provide the keys to understand the stakes of our Reports with the Regulators. You will also develop your skills around OFS, the main General Layer of BNPParibas, winning expertise on financial data. 

You will have the chance to work in Agile, learning the implementation of a game-changing methodology.

The Project Manager / Business Analyst senior has to be:

-        A business school or University graduate with a master’s degree in accounting/finance

or

-        An engineer graduate with Finance and/or accounting knowledge with,

Experience & functional knowledge,

  • More than 5 years of experience in Finance, or Project Management within the Banking sector (Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting, Business/financial analysis), including audit and consultancy firms.
  • Knowledge and experience of implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Experience as business analyst in Finance systems (Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting) or accounting interfaces (business analysis, functional requirements) appreciated.
  • Working experience in an international environment. 

Technical knowledge,

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Sharepoint.
  • Usage of Jira or other agile ticketing tool. 

Some personal skills,

  • Strong interpersonal communication (spoken and written) and customer orientation skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex information in a clearly organized and visually interesting manner.
  • Capability to work and interact with people of different expertise and hierarchical level.
  • Organizational skills: autonomy, capacity to manage several tasks in parallel, capacity to prioritize the activities. 

To work in an international environment, you will need to be:

  • Fluent in English (B2 Level minimum) mandatory.
