Lead Developer
As a part of the FA IT team within Securities Services cluster you will contribute to providing new solutions for operational teams and establishing the link between international stakeholders and development teams.
This position will give you the unique opportunity to cooperate with dynamic, cross location squads while you will shape the product vision, manage the backlog, including transversal topics, to ensure continuity and guarantee the quality and sustainability of the application.

Requirements:
Professional Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in IT development and management.
- Extensive knowledge of IT standards, tools and methodologies.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in development tools, including Java Microservices/JEE and Python.
- Experience with API/REST and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Linux, AIX, and Windows.
- Oracle PL/SQL knowledge is a plus.
Soft skills:
- Strong communication and presentation skills, adaptable to diverse audiences.
- Proactiveness, accuracy, and ability to perform under pressure.
Additional Competencies:
- Awareness of IT quality and security standards, as well as functional and technical architecture principles.
- Knowledge of the Fund Administration domain is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Openness to evolving AI technologies.
Language Skills:
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance and support to IT analysts and developers.
- Identify and implement improvements and optimization opportunities for two major applications within the BNP Paribas Security Services department.
- Contribute to the delivery of major projects involving core business platforms.
- Collaborate effectively with Architects, Security, and Infrastructure teams to design and implement appropriate infrastructure solutions and upgrades.
- Ensure smooth operation of applications and adherence to security standards.
- Actively participate in the group’s IT transformation initiatives, including the adoption of DevOps, Agile methodologies, and AI readiness.
