About the job

  • The mandate of the Documentation Department is to ensure that every over the counter (OTC) transaction done, as well as every associated event to an existing transaction that requires a confirmation, is properly confirmed with the counterparty in due time
  • The Documentation Supervisor is responsible for checking the integrity and accuracy of the booking and help managing the subsequent risks undertaken by the business lines. It is also expected that the Supervisor exerts a control and monitoring role while assisting both the team and Team Leader

Your Main Activities Are

  • Follow the team procedures in an exemplary fashion, participating in its production while supporting the other team members
  • Continuous review of processes and controls ensuring high level of risk management
  • Proactively contribute to improve team effectiveness through Continuous Improvement approach
  • Maintaining effective working relationships with Front Office Trading and Sales, Legal, Compliance, Information Technology (IT) and other operational teams globally through daily interactions
  • Coordinate the setup and daily management of the operations teams. Perform daily, weekly and monthly report management of controls
  • Liaise with IT departments to raise tool issues and log bug/enhancements requests
  • Organize and animate daily meetings by analysing Key Performance Indicators (KPI), set up problem solving sessions when necessary and escalate to relevant persons any long outstanding issue. Provide training for new joiners, monitor the team activity and act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for client or Front Office (FO)
  • Act as a functional and technical expert, supporting the team by being a moderator and facilitator in any forum or discussion
  • Act as a first-line supervisor by assisting the team as well as the Team Leader

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance and Accounting
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in Banking and Financial Operations
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office Pack Microsoft Excel
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written
  • Team player and able to collaborate
  • Attention to detail and rigor
  • Adaptability
  • Critical thinking
  • Organisational skills
  • Personal impact and able to influence
