Asset Management - Global Client Group - Client Relationship Manager, HK & Macau

ROLE DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE

  • The key responsibility of Institutional Sales Team HK is to build up and grow business relationships with various types of HK & Macao institutional clients including Sovereign Wealth Funds, Pensions, Insurance Companies, Commercial Banks, Endowments, etc. This role will be an essential part of this team and be responsible for the business development with targeted clients. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with Team Head to develop business strategy and business plan regarding the clients assigned    
  • Build and maintain good relationship and grow business with targeted clients and meet sales targets  
  • Work with Head of Asset Management, China to support China offshore institutional business development    
  • Liaise with internal teams and ensure smooth and timely communication with clients and prospects, internal teams including investment, client service, operation, legal and compliance etc.
  • Keep abreast of asset management industry trends, competitors as well as client segment developments      
  • Be familiar with investment products and strategies managed within the firm                                                

KEY INTERNAL / EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

  • Internal: Investment, Marketing, Brand & Communication, Compliance, Legal, Client Service and Operation teams   
  • External: Institutional Clients                                                

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 8-10 years experience in HK & Macao institutional clients coverage from asset management business perspective
  • Deep understanding in the policies, regulations, practices and key players of the HK & Macao investment community     
  • Knowledge with China offshore clients is a plus  
  • Target driven and good at dealing with various personalities 
  • Fluent Cantonese and English, writing and verbal, Mandarin is a plus
