Position Purpose
- The Test Manager is responsible for overall responsibility and management of the deliveries and resources related to manual as well as automation testing phases of project/sprint lifecycle.
Understanding client requirements and preparing implementation roadmap. Interacting with global teams to agree work package deliverables (functional, automation, performance and security testing) and ensure successful and timely execution of test activities.
· Day to Day activities include –
o Preparing Test Strategy, Test effort estimation, Release and test Planning and scheduling of test activities, Capacity planning
o Planning, Scheduling and tracking tasks assigned to teams
o Influencing and directing the test approach for a number of different projects to ensure effective and efficient completion of testing activities
o Test Status and KPIs, Metrics reporting
o Checking the impact of the changes in business.
o Understanding testing principles and practices
o Ability to plan, design and execute test cases.
o Ability to understand JIRA workflow
o Ability to write and understand Test Plan documents to be aligned with the governance.
o Maintenance of knowledge repository
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
· Implementing Standard Test processes as per Service Catalogue, suggesting improvements if any
· Implementing a consistent offshore testing process across a number of project teams
· Implement Risk based testing and other testing techniques
· Risk Management, change management, defect management, following configuration management practices
· Providing career path and guidance to team members, Performance management
· Participate in initiatives, KPI & quarterly lever monitoring, reporting to senior management
· Supervise knowledge database of the test assets
· To prepare and publish weekly / monthly Status Reports
· Innovation and Continuous improvement
· Participation in project Audits
· Overall responsibility and management of the Automation Service delivery
· Help resources to upgrade their skills (training / mentoring) to achieve their career path and goals. This in turn will lead to Service Delivery excellence

· Having good SQL knowledge for creating dashboards in JIRA
· Knowledge of Automation.
