Social and Civic Sustainability Manager

We are looking for a new colleague who is willing to join Social & Civic Sustainability under Learning & Development Division at TEB to contribute to our sustainable and recognized performance supported by our team’s positive attitude and cooperation.

The ideal candidate should have / be: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master degree from reputable universities, 
  • 5+ years of experience in sustainability projects and cultural transformation,
  • Advanced level of English both in written and verbal,
  • Analytical thinking, attention to detail and accuracy of data,
  • Project management or business development experience
  • Ability to work in multi-tasking environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and other digital systems
  • Strong desire to advance critical skills in Organizational Effectiveness, Strategic Communication, Strategic Planning, Sustainability, Data Interpretation, and Continuous Improvement,
  • Knowledge of local regulations as well as other international environmental and Health and safety Standards (such as EBRD, ESG, IFC etc.)
  • Support and follow up the integration of Sustainability into the corporate culture
  • Conduct HR sustainability projects and defined related tasks 
  • Ability to interpret demands across new operating models in line with strategic needs and going beyond potential trends,
  • A Critical Mind-set is required to build innovative and strategic thinking by conceptualizing, designing/implementing functional enhancements
  • A team player working in the redesign processes and multiple operations for a purpose-led company culture

Overall, being an “strategic sustainability driver” by a strong personal desire to offer meaningful solutions and to identify the necessary elements for providing instruments leading to social and civic sustainability processes in ameliorating organizational structure of TEB.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify the social and civic sustainability needs in accordance with the Bank’s strategy
  • Coordinating sustainability studies, projects and initiatives with the relevant parties and also relevant reporting periods which are mandatory for sustainability initiatives
  • Monitoring the sustainability projects and implementations regularly and to report and present regularly
  • Pursuing new trends and technological / digital improvements to sustain enhanced working environment

This position reports to Director. There is no team management responsibility.

This position works in hybrid mode (3 days at office, 2 days remotely)
