Our Human Resources (HR) teams are responsible for attracting, retaining and developing exceptional people to grow our business. Our ambition is to create a great place to work by providing a positive and inclusive working environment where colleagues can perform better by being themselves.

Within HR you will be welcomed into a team of around 20 colleagues working on exciting projects that facilitate and enhance colleague journeys and drive transformation. The HR function comprises of HR Administration, HR Systems, HR Business Partners, HR Controls, Leadership, Learning and Development, as well as Recruitment teams who work collaboratively to achieve results. 

You’ll be involved in strategic planning to drive the business forward, while building fantastic relationships with stakeholders at all levels, as we are embedded within the business that we support. 

Our HR Business Partners work in an agile manner, you’ll have key areas of the business that you’ll cover, but will also have exposure to other areas depending on workloads and business needs. 
Onsite here in Solihull, our HR team support multiple business functions, such as Operations, Finance, IT, Procurement, Partner Finance, Risk, Marketing and more. As a business, we have offices in Solihull and Belfast, so you may be required to travel to our Belfast office on occasion. 

JOB PURPOSE

To assist the Head of HR in providing a complete end-to-end seamless service to all HR related issues, adopting a Business Partner approach to enhance key business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Build and maintain working relations with Department Managers and Team Managers to facilitate communication and engagement
- Provide advice to  Senior Managers, Department Managers and Team Managers on Employee Relations issues
- Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered and applied to consistently across the business
- Provide support to the HR Team with regards to business improvements 
- Lead on HR Strategic Projects
- Manage HR cases within set timeframe, providing relevant advice and support, and update relevant tracker
- Ongoing annual review and update of HR policies, taking into consideration best practice and current legislation
- Identify any gaps in Management training and implement solutions, partnering with Talent & Development Team
- Support on health & well-being initiatives
- Lead internal benefit promotions, liaising with Internal Communications team
- Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered and applied to consistently across the business
- Provide accurate, professional advice and guidance to the business on all HR and employment law related matters 


To be successful for this position, you’ll need: 

- Demonstrable experience within a similar HR role; perhaps a Business Partner, Adviser or Officer
- CIPD Qualification (plus up to date knowledge across core HR areas; such as employment law)
- Ideally you’ll also have financial services experience and/or experience working with Contact Centre Operational teams
- Excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage own workload using your own initiative and drive
- Excellent Stakeholder Management skills

Our office is in central Solihull, within walking distance of the train station and bus routes. We have limited parking available which is shared out on a rota basis amongst colleague, so is not guaranteed- there are multiple pay and display car parks nearby also.
