What is this position about?
• The role is responsible for managing lifecycle of syndicated transactions (secondary sell-down) for Supply Chain operations in a timely and efficient manner. As the central point of contact for deals in APAC. The position requires seamless coordination with stakeholders including but not limited to Participating Banks (PBs), Front Office (Trade Syndication / SCM), local branch Middle Office, Back Office, and other internal functions throughout the course of daily activities.
What would be your typical day at BNPP Paribas look like?
Primary Role Responsibilities
• Onboarding: Manage the document (e.g., MPA / Syndicated RPA) execution process. This includes collecting and verifying signatures from Participating Banks via SWIFT exchanges, and coordinating the distribution of hard copies to the respective banks.
• Drawdown & Settlement: Prepare drawdown allocations, execute SWIFT exchanges for pricing verification, and communicate new drawdown allocations to PBs. Oversee settlement processes, monitor overdues, and communicate with all concerned PBs regarding exceptions such as prepayments, break funding, rollovers, or weak signals.
• Contract & Program Maintenance: Coordinate non-commercial program structure and insurance policy updates with all PBs. Handle the execution of contract amendments (e.g., MPA / Syndicated RPA) by collecting signatures, verifying via SWIFT, and liaising with Front Office.
• Covenant & KYC Monitoring: Collect, produce, and distribute covenant reports to PBs at predefined deal frequencies (e.g., utilization reports, aging reports, commitment fee, and overdue trackers). Coordinate with PBs to collect updated information for annual counterparty KYC reviews.
• Reporting & Documentation: Manage quarterly insurance reporting and share underlying sampling documentation with PBs. Verify data accuracy, consolidate reports for all SCM deals, and generate internal monthly utilization dashboards for stakeholders.
• General Coordination: Liaise closely with the Back Office to ensure smooth processing of transactions within set turnaround times, and handle internal/external stakeholder inquiries effectively.
• Compliance: Ensure that all transactions and tasks assigned are processed in accordance with Operating and Compliance procedures, ensuring appropriate escalation to management or permanent control as soon as an issue is identified.
• Support Supply Chain operation processing for APAC countries.
• Monitor processing ensure transactions can be committed to clients / branches expectation.
• Support business / regional sites / clients / counterparties in routine BAU queries
• Ensure accuracy to eliminate operation errors.
• Manage / conduct UAT to related internal systems
• Comply with internal control and external regulatory and compliance requirements
• Responsible for ensuring Operation Procedures are written, distributed and updated to commit with relevant Bank’s internal policies
• Monitor and report any potential incidents / errors to management
• Comply with the BNPP standards of Code of Conduct
• Minimize operational failure, including but not exclusively the risk of fraud by helping to devise and by implementing regular controls
• Bring direct contribution to BNPP operational permanent control framework
• Ensure appropriate escalation to management and/or permanent control (or compliance as appropriate) as soon as an issue is identified
• Anti‐Money Laundering / Financial Sanctions “AML/FS”) related duties: Operations are an integral part of the control framework including for AML/FS topics. In that respect, in performing your role you are expected to ensure adherence to AML/FS‐related Group Policies and execution of associated operational controls, and to promptly escalate any resulting hit for analysis and decision.

• Minimize operational failure, including but not exclusively the risk of fraud by helping to devise and implement sufficient regular controls.
• Perform any other duties delegated by the Team Manager from time to time.
What is required for you to succeed?
● Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
● Strong PC knowledge and skills (especially in Excel for data consolidation and dashboard reporting).
● Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, specifically for dealing with external Participating Banks.
● Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure, and demonstrate strong team spirit.
● Meticulous and efficient with strong analytical, organizational, and follow-up skills.
● Client and partner-service oriented.
● Knowledge of Compliance, KYC, and AML topics.
● Preferably at least 3 years of experience in handling Trade products middle office work, with a strong advantage given to candidates with exposure to secondary syndication, loan or trade agency work, or Supply Chain Management (SCM) programs.
