The position at
a glance
To provide support to the L&D Team.
The Intern will assist with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the L&D functions and duties. The intern will carry out responsibilities in the following areas: training logistics planning and delivery, Summer Academy, Graduates and intern development, Language lessons, training campaigns and promotion of events.
- Provide support in the delivery of L&D events to employees and managers
- Interact closely with the different HR Teams (HR Connect team, Talent Acquisition, ER, HRBPs…)
- Document processes and review policies to ensure they are update
In detail
- Support the delivery of all in person session training ensuring room booking, security access passes and delegate coordination
- Create events in the LMS in partnership with team in Lisbon to capture all events and mark attendances
- Build and send out periodic newsletter
- Participate in the graduate and intern sessions
- Contribute to L&D projects and act as project administrator.
- Implement required campaigns to deliver on the Summer Academy, Language Lessons and other initiatives
- Review our policies and update as required.

- Currently pursuing a degree in human resources/industrial relations or in Management/Business Administration.
- A desire to grow and develop a career with HR and learn about all the different disciplines within HR
- Flexible and collaborative mindset
- Uses own initiative and can work independently although uses judgement to know when to ask for help and guidance
- Takes responsibility for own work
- Understands and is process oriented
- Appreciates that projects need to be completed, methodical approach with an ability to work under pressure
- Able to build appropriate professional, and accessible relationships with employees and line managers
- MS Word - Must have a minimum of intermediate skills, good typing skills an advantage
- MS Excel - Ideally will have intermediate to advanced skills, the ability to put together spreadsheets with formulae and filters, produce charts and graphs, v lookups, pivot tables
- MS PowerPoint - intermediate to advanced skills
- Given the vast majority of our our clients, both internal and external, are based outside of Quebec and Canada, specific language requirements may apply. Knowledge of French and English is required.
- Good general IT skills and now how to navigate through databases and retrieve information efficiently.
