Junior Investment Compliance Specialist
Investment Compliance is part of Depositary and Fiduciary domain of BNP Paribas. DFS department was appointed for fund’s asset protection: cash monitoring, safekeeping and overseeing the fund’s affairs to ensure that it complies with obligations outlined in relevant laws and fund’s constitutional documents. Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of the investment funds industry and securities market
- University degree (preferably Finance, Economics, Law);
- Dedication and engagement;
- Analytical and problem solving skills. Accuracy and detail orientation;
- Organizational skills;
- Ability to work with deadlines
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools;
- Working command of English (min B2);
Responsibilities:
- Supporting investment compliance and oversight controls for clients to ensure that the funds are managed in compliance with regulatory requirements and funds’ constitutional documents.
- Supports execution of investment compliance & oversight controls on funds and fund administrators as required by regulations and/or stipulated in service agreements
- Prepares drafts of reports, collects data documenting discovered inconsistencies and identified breaches to evidence the outcome of performed controls and analysis.
- Participates in communication with various stakeholders to collect necessary information, resolve outstanding issues and investigate spotted inaccuracies.
- Assists in creation of process guides and manuals to support the maintenance of team's knowledge base.
- Contributes in the maintainance of internal databases and systems to ensure relevancy and accuracy of data required to execute the controls
