About Business line/Function:

ITG is a group function established recently (2019) in ISPL with presence in Mumbai, Chennai. We collaborate with various business lines of the group to provide IT Services.

BNP PARIBAS, the leading bank in the European Union and a leading international player, is seeking to complement and reinforce its existing teams in the areas of IT risk management, cybersecurity and the fight against digital fraud.

Within IT Group, Informatics Directorate of BNP Paribas, the Cybersecurity & Digital Fraud Department's mission aims to structure, strengthen and harmonize IT risk management and cybersecurity for the overall BNP Paribas Group (approximately 30 entities) and:

-defining the vision and strategy for IT risk management and cybersecurity, and ensuring the implementation of this strategy within the Group’s operating entities

-monitoring the security of the Group's information systems

-steering the IT Continuity and Resilience strategy and methodological framework

The evolving Cyber threats landscape increases the security risk of financial sector, that leads BNP Paribas to strengthen its Cybersecurity maturity, IT risk management and Operation Resilience.

Position Purpose

The Cybersecurity Manager will be responsible for enhancing the Global Monitoring and Coverage on Cybersecurity & IT Risk and Compliance and managing a team of 5+ of data management, remediation management and cybersecurity data analysts based in Chennai and Mumbai. This role will report to the CDF (Cybersecurity and Digital Fraud) head of department based in Chennai.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

·Liaise with the team Managers based in Paris to coordinate with the Paris teams for the planning and execution of activities.

·Organize the work of the team and define a roadmap to meet the various milestones.

·Define and support employee training plans to enable them to develop their operational and behavioural skills, in line with objectives to set in collaboration with Paris managers.

·Create, maintain and continuously improve the reports/dashboards used in Global Monitoring, Coverageand the SOPs of activities performed by the team.

·Review data collected, consolidated and associated dashboards created at BNP Paribas Entities level, regarding several IT Risk and cybersecurity topics, cyber remediation plan followed at Group Level

·Collaborate and drive any special project or request as asked by steering monthly processes, information sources or internal applications upgrades, enhancements related to new reporting requirement, etc

·Governance and compiling accurate and timely reporting for the CDF management

·Provide support to the team members in the roll-out of their activities, assisting them whenever required in the meetings with BNP Paribas’ entities’ CISOs, ITROs, etc.

Contributing Responsibilities

·Analyze various sources of data to identify potential areas of risk and assist in developing appropriate process improvements.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

·Between 7- and 12-years’ experience or more in IT Risks and cyber security field, at least 2 years’ experience as manager of an IT Risks and/or Cybersecurity team

·Proven experience with cross-cultural & international working environment, managing and working with large and geographically dispersed teams

·Advanced communication skills (Strong writing, editing, presenting)

·Demonstrate a positive motivated attitude. Rigorous and an eye for detail.

·Excellent organization and project management skills - organizing, planning and effectively implementing projects and tasks.

·Ability to prioritize and multi-task with flexibility and adaptability.

·Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate teams, ability to work in a collaborative environment with international team members.

·Ability to lead through accountability with delegated responsibilities and to manage conflicting priorities and multiple tasks.

·Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends of cyber security

·Industry certifications are preferred, but not required: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, etc.
