RISK Iberian Hub Madrid is a transversal platform servicing the RISK Function by covering added-value activities around credit risk, market risk, operational risk and data protection. Offering a wide range of services to RISK teams, from consulting to cyber security going through data analysis, modelling or artificial intelligence.

Your day-to-day activity: 


Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) risks drivers are a major challenge for BNP Paribas, which has launched an ambitious plan to integrate them within the Group risk management framework. Sustainability is one of the three pillars of the BNP Paribas 2025 Strategic plan, fed itself by the RISK 2025 strategic plan embedding a program to fully integrate ESG into the risk management framework. –You will support to this program by operating as a project manager in the RISK CPBS (Commercial, Personal Banking & Services) cross-functional coordination team for ESG topics between the RISK teams within CPBS entities and the Group. As such, you will contribute to the implementation of the team's ESG action plan split into 3 main missions: (i) operational integration of ESG topics into the risk management framework of CPBS entities, (ii) awareness and organization of training sessions on the ESG theme for the RISK CPBS staff, (iii) contribution on ESG topics during the various supervisory assignments. 

Your role as a project manager will mainly be focused on the operational insertion of ESG into the risk management framework, notably by ensuring the proper implementation of the ESG assessment within the CPBS perimeter.

The ESG Project Manager - RISK CPBS will work for the ESG pillar supported by the ESG coordinator RISK CPBS for the day-to-day activities while reporting to the RISK ESG Madrid team leader and will contribute to the delivery of the above objectives.

Your profile :

•       Organized, you have good analytical and synthesis skills, a strong appetite for ESG topics, developed a good ability to communicate and collaborate. You master the Office pack and your level of English/French is fluent both orally and in writing.

Your team

 :

•               You will join the RISK CPBS management team in charge of monitoring the risks of CPBS entities, namely the Retail Banks (BCEF, BNPP FORTIS, BNL, BGL), Europe Mediterranean entities, and Specialized Businesses (Personal Finance, Personal Investors, Arval, Leasing Solutions, Factor Nickel and Floa).

•               You will be integrated into the ESG Coordination unit of the Risk Management & Anticipation (RMA) team, itself directly attached to the CPBS Chief Risk Officer (CRO). 

•               The RISK CPBS RMA scope of responsibility includes ESG Coordination, Regulatory Office & Portfolio Monitoring (Credit), Risk reporting and Risk Anticipation.
