Position Purpose
• Lead and build JYF APAC team and liaise closely with JYF Geneva to market Jet & Yacht financing deals
• Initiate and nurture relationships with industry stakeholders in the region and identify new opportunities from prospect clients
• Follow up the existing relationships and closely monitor the risk evolution of existing loans
• Participate in industry events to promote the image of BNPP JYF in the region
• Partner with Wealth Management Relationship Managers with the identification, negotiation and execution of jet and yacht financing transactions
• Analyze, structure and negotiate new jet & yacht financing loans in cooperation with the booking center in Geneva
• Foster the knowledge of the jet & yacht industry by sharing intelligence on the market and market practice with the front office and the jet & yacht team globally
• Prevent credit losses by properly structuring transactions and by exercising sound and rigorous risk monitoring processes, and to identify problem cases at their early stage;
• Promote cross-selling opportunities through the Bank
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and build Jet & Yacht Finance business in the region
• Support overall credit needs of strategic clients not limited to Jet & Yacht
Marketing / Commercial support
• Originating deal by maintaining and/ or establishing dialogue with the RMs and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop relationships with builders, manufacturers, operators, managers , maritime and aircraft authorities and refers deal to WM
• Maintain and develop our expertise in the business jet and yacht’s valuation.
• Assess overall transactional risk and direct structural aspects of transaction
• Increase the visibility of our franchise internally and externally
• Attend industry events to collect market intelligence and promote BNPP image
• Build up deal pipeline and perform regular reporting to Geneva to share market activity and intelligence
Structuring
• In close coordination with the Wealth Management Relationship Managers, prepare and negotiate term sheets/ deal details with the clients and ensure that the bank’s credit, profitability and asset allocation hurdles are adhered to in cooperation with the booking center.
• Prepare and review term-sheets and documents communicated to clients.
• Assess structure and negotiate new Jet & Yacht Financing loans, including the loan’s legal documentation in compliance with the x-borders regulations.
Execution & Follow-up
• Approach client and stakeholders directly in liaising credit structure and perform ongoing credit reviews
• Prepare and Review credit memos, support them and participate to the bank’s credit committees.
• Organize, monitor and ensure the smooth process of all Jet & Yacht closings and drawdowns in coordination with the appointed legal counsel and the client in cooperation with the booking center
• Ensure a close monitoring of the accounts and assist the Account Officer in account opening and account follow-up in cooperation with the booking center
• Conduct Annual Reviews of all Jet and Yacht loans initiated in Asia, and on overall credit relationships as assigned by the line manager

Specific Qualifications Required
• At least five years of experience in Asset Based Financing, especially in the jet and yacht space
• Self-motivated, team player, strong project management skills
• Client relationship, marketing, presentation and sales skills
• Knowledge and expertise of banking products and services
• Good understanding of the markets of super yachts and private jets
• Strong credit skills and strong sense of risk
• Proficient spoken and written English
• Computer literacy
