Deputy Team Leader in FDS Trade Capture Team

Requirements:
- Around 3-5 years of experience in Fund Industry
- Ability to motivate and develop other team members
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Stress resistance and ability to work under pressure
- Accuracy and client focus approach
- Fluency in English and French
- Ability to learn new operational tools and manage BAU projects
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting Team Leader in people management incl. yearly appraisals with employees, recruitment processes, training newcomers and developing employees
- Leading the operational processes of the team and performing the validation of transactions to ensure timely service delivery.
- Dealing with any unexpected issues disrupting BAU such as system failure or shortage of staff
- Ensuring the efficient work allocation in the team
- Assisting Team Leader in reporting activities, preparing and monitoring of KPIs, procedures and BCM documentation updates.
- Active participation in innovation projects, quality improvements, onboarding and integration of new operational activities
- Making sure all the controls for the given period are properly executed to mitigate operational risk.
- Supporting implementation of efficiency initiatives to ensure proper delivery of department's targets
- Ensuring reports and KPI are delivered on time to be in line with SLA requirements
- Participating in meetings with Legacy Location and Business Partners to answer queries and provide updates on the activity.
- Acting as the first point of contact for legacy locations in case of absence of the Team Leader
