Position Purpose

The purpose of the role is to act as a Business Change Specialist for Asset Services (Corporate actions & Income).  In terms of Governance, the role will reside in the Middle Office Operational Business Transformation Team.

The role will cover assigned change and Support across mainly the Asset services processes and will be required to work closely with colleagues and stakeholders across departments and global locations.

Responsibilities

-  Taking full advantage of the Asset services process, provide value added solutions that enables the operational teams for a seamless transition to the new operating model.

-  Contribute insight and analysis into potential projects/businesses cases ensuring accurate estimates for benefits and other project deliverables are SMART.

-  Design of operating models, both tactical and strategic, to support business change, ensuring these are understood and signed off by all relevant stakeholders.

-  Collation of materials, chairing and minuting the project documents and internal / external meetings. Using the appropriate brainstorming, facilitation techniques and business analysis tools and techniques to ensure requirements meet the business need.

-  Identification and completion of any testing requirements to support implementation of business change.

  • Collaborate with global counterparts and local operations team to ensure proper coverage of assigned tasks
  • Effectively managing internal and external stakeholder’s communication
  • Control, management and escalations of all risks, impacts and delays
  • Accountable to feed all project stakeholders (Programme, Client, Management, etc.) and ensure the key and appropriate updates/issues are raised

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

-  Should have minimum 5 – 8 years of relevant experience

-  Operational experience in Middle office Asset services operations – Corporate action & Income

-  Ability to deal with all levels of the organisation from developers to senior sponsors

-  Ability to clearly articulate, communicate and manage project details or updates to a variety of Stakeholders

-  Excellent active listening

-  Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal

-  Problem solving and root cause identification skills

-  Strong team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others

-  Ability to identify solutions and drive through to completion

-  Familiarity with Business Analysis approaches, tools and phase of the project lifecycle

-  Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations and in a high pace environment

-  Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), MS Visio
