- Within the RISK Portugal Hub of CPBS (Commercial, Personal Banking & Services), you will join the RISK BCEF Reporting team. As the RISK Reporting Team Leader, you will oversee the Lisbon team responsible for producing BCEF’s RWA (Risk-Weighted Assets) for both monthly and quarterly closings, in collaboration with the RISK BCEF Reporting teams in Paris, BCEF Finance, and Credit Risk Regulatory (CRR) teams in Lisbon. You will also be responsible for producing credit risk reporting and indicators to meet increasing regulatory requirements and the development of Retail and Corporate securitizations within BCEF
- You will be working on various current credit risk and regulatory issues at the heart of banking within the largest entity of CPBS. You will gain a strong understanding of RWA calculations as well as the construction and analysis of key indicators for managing bank’s credit risk. In general, you will develop expertise in credit risk management, banking regulation (CRR3, EBA Guidelines – LOM, NPE-FBE, etc.), and the data challenges within BCEF and RISK BCEF
Your Main Activities Are
- Ensure the smooth execution and proper planning of the team’s tasks, ensuring deadlines are met
- Supervise and contribute to the production of capital controls (accounting base, risk parameters EAD/PD/LGD, EL/ELBE shortfall)
- Supervise and contribute to the creation of dashboards and presentation explaining RWA amounts and variations
- Supervise and contribute to the production of credit risk indicators and regulatory reporting (especially for recharges or new securitization vehicles)
- Analyze and explain key metrics, trends, and areas for analysis from both business and risk perspectives
- Be proactive in adapting and transforming reports and analyses to meet requests and evolving needs
- Improve the permanent control framework (especially for run capital) to deliver timely, reliable, and consistent analysis and ensure that procedures are followed
- Ensure effective cooperation between the RISK BCEF Reporting teams in Lisbon and Paris and be the key contact for the Paris teams, providing support when needed
- Facilitate the development and knowledge enhancement of team members
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Business Management or related
- At least 5 years of experience in Data Analytics / Information Technology or similar
- Advanced level of English, both written and oral
- Knowledge in
