Client Engagement & Protection (CEP) Specialist - AVP
Client Engagement & Protection (CEP) team is responsible for KYC operations (onboarding and recertification), client referential, AML transaction monitoring, QA and first line of defence controls. This position will actively participate in improvement initiatives within CEP.
In addition, the position will be responsible for the data officer role, monitoring data quality and integrity of CEP team.
Main responsibilities:
* Develop a good understanding of the overall KYC requirements and operational process and act as a subject matter expert to support the team;
* Develop deep understanding of business needs by data analysis, market trends and conduct gap analysis and process mapping to identify areas for improvement;
* Produce key reports for CEP;
* Work with IT and other departments to implement solutions and ensure they align with business goals;
* Collaborate on ad-hoc analysis for the evaluation and improvement of prioritized Data Quality in CEP tools;
* Analyze the impact of ongoing or upcoming projects, and assessments on Data Quality CEP tools;
* Steer the data quality management framework, in particular by managing effective escalation and remediation process;
* Present KPIs and project status to Senior Management;
* Elaborate reports to regulators and internal audit;
* Participate in automation and robotics initiatives within Ops.
Position Requirements:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex processes into simplified manner for diverse audiences and to challenge requirements, raise alerts and propose alternatives;
* Excellent MS office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word);
* Project management experience is desirable;
* Ability to work independently with no supervision and as a team;
* Ability to work in international environment;
* Ability to manage / facilitate a meeting, seminar, committee, training, among others;
* Knowledge of PowerBI, Python and programing skills is preferred;
* Fluency in English and Portuguese are required and another language is a plus.
