The position at a glance
The Transaction Banking Americas VP Cash Product Manager partners with Cash Sales & Liquidity Advisory to drive business acquisition for the CTLIA business in North America. This role supports the CTLIA platform in the region from a product development and product management perspective. It works with internal colleagues to create the right environment for success with our clients in the region; supporting the achievement of revenue and client acquisition of targets linked to fee and NII revenues. The VP Cash Product Manager reports to the Head of Cash Product Management for Transaction Banking Americas and works with Sales to translate customer need into new product and local platform development. The role also works with global counterparts when directed as part of worldwide Cash / Liquidity product development.
In detail
Responsibilities:
- Continual product improvement and enhancement, management of product risks and contribution to overall product strategy and commercialization together with the broader Cash Product Management team.
- Exhibiting a good understanding of the different payment / collection options available to corporates within North America, particularly Multinational Corporates, spanning across well-established methods such as wires, ACH, checks, cards to more recent developments in real-time payments (RTP) and digital wallets and serving as a resource on these topics.
- Commercialization of cash management services by packaging products into solutions that provide value to clients and the creation and delivery of product materials.
- Positive Interaction and partnership with stakeholders within and across cross-functional teams to deliver best in class solutions.
- Preparation of business requirements for new products and obtaining new product approvals.
- Coordination with IT team, and other stakeholders for product / channel development, budgets, compliance, legal approvals.
- Ongoing project management of existing and new product rollouts.
Work conditions: This position provides for standard working conditions in an office and a normal work schedule from Monday to Friday. This position requires little travel.
The strengths and skills that will help you succeed
- 8 Years of experience covering Cash Management and Liquidity solutions in a product management role.
- Given the vast majority of our clients, both internal and external, are based outside of Quebec and Canada, specific language requirements may apply. Knowledge of English is required.
- Demonstrable and exhibitable success in the Product Management space for cash management and liquidity solutions.
- Strong understanding of payment systems and electronic banking platforms.
- Bachelor Degree level education
- Advanced Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
- Strong written and interpersonal communications skills.
- Self-starter, Highly and efficiently organized, and able to multi-task.
- Resilient and committed – able to deliver within tight deadlines
Preferred qualifications:
- Familiarity & experience with industry standards, practices and innovation across payments and cash management domains (e.g. ISO 20022, SWIFT, NACHA).
- Good payment rail knowledge, particularly in USD, for wire, ACH, cards and checks, with broader familiarity in cross-border and global payments.
