Position Purpose

New Payment Engine NPE is an application that manages EURO transactions in SEPA zone specifically Instant Payments in Bnpparibas.  Given the nature of payments – the engine is expected to process large volumes of transactions in utmost priority sequencing. The application is undergoing numerous enhancements to meet regulatory and product expectations from the business teams and direct consumers. 

This position is for Business Systems Analyst for IT for the New payment engine ; this position Involves functional analysis, system analysis and detailed system requirements management for the Instant Payment scope. The position involves close co-ordination with all stakeholders alike – developers, product owner, business users and testing team members, includes testing support, incident investigation, sometimes testing activities and anchors delivery clarity from offshore

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

·       Understanding and defining User stories/requirements 

·       Ability to conceive and define acceptance criteria. 

·  Able to communicate effectively with IT teams as well as Business Teams 

·  Functional Specification Analysis 

·       Work in close co-ordination with functional test team to Analyze test cases thoroughly to ensure adequate coverage of requirements.

·       Closely work with Dev teams/BA to resolve technical & business issues and to develop a good understanding of the project and testing objectives.

·       Must have good analytical skills.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to communicate effectively with IT teams as well as Business Teams

·       Must be flexible, independent.

·       Perform other testing-related duties as required

IT Skills & Behavioral Competencies

Skills required – At least few from below on Business Analysis

·       Experience of 5-8 years in System analysis required. 

·       Knowledge of Payments and Cash Management domain is required 

·       Customer oriented (required)

·       Proficient in analytical skills (required)

·       Excellent oral and writing communication skills (required)

·       BDD/TDD approach knowledge (required)

·       Skillful in XML/XSD and SQL language (required)

·       Experience in JSON data formats 

·       Exposure to No SQL databases like Mongo, Cassandra will be nice to have 

·       Experienced user of ALM/QC, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint

·       Experience in working in Agile environment

 Any Graduation / Master’s Degree
