Main purpose
To manage a team of store staff in order to enable the company to meet and surpass its strategic objectives. The leadership style that is required is a balanced approach of performance and people management to ensure that staff are informed, competent and motivated. The successful candidate should reside in Port Elizabeth.
Key Responsibilities

•Handle internal and external customer services – compliments, complaints and general feedback
•Ensure that daily/monthly targets are met
•Provide accurate reporting
•Build collaborative and mutually beneficial relationships with the branch team and the RCS head office team
•Follow up on audit reports and implement action plans to improve standards of efficiency in the department
•Manage employee relations and ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures as well as resolve people-related problems e.g. conflict of interest, absenteeism and disciplinary matters
•Builds and sustains long term relationships with Strategic Partners
•Pro-actively drafts and effectively implements Sales and Marketing Plans in order to secure new business
•Pro-actively engages in research, fact finding, cold-canvassing and prospecting in order to identify and attract potential clients

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
•Matric/Grade 12 Certificate – essential
•Valid driver’s license – essential
•Recent team management experience within the financial services / retail environment – preferred
•Computer Literacy – must be proficient and have solid understanding of MS Office suite – essential
Travel:
•As a member of the Retail Management team, the Area Supervisor is required to travel in their own vehicle for business activities.
