BNP Paribas in its Securities Services business offers a wide range of services derived from the purchase and sale of financial instruments and units in investment funds, such as their settlement, custody, valuation, administration and financing and all financial transactions derived therefrom (dividend payments, capital increases, fund subscriptions and redemptions, etc.).
ABOUT THE JOB
MISSION
You will join the Securities Services business line part of the Corporate and Institutional Banking division. In CIB2S Madrid, we provide Settlement & Custody services for Institutional Clients for Spanish & Global Markets. As an Account Manager, you will be liaising with:
- Settlement of Fixed Income & Equity Instruments
- Asset servicing of the above securities
- Depositary services for both, traditional and Private Capital Funds
- Funds, Nav calculation.
- Cash management & reconciliations
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform all BAU tasks in timely manner and according to procedures
- Acquire the knowledge to understand and process all types of trades done by clients
- Review all the necessary documents sent by clients
- Perform all the controls required for the activity
- Ensure all instructions received are processed
- Respond to queries from internal or external sources in relation to the activity and ensure every enquiry received has been answered
Investigation and fixing any issues regarding daily business to avoid delays
- Maintain relationship with clients, colleagues and other teams and promote client focus approach
- Active participation and implementation of new processes and client acquisitions
- Support team in any BAU topics, crisis management, meetings and projects
- Support the team in achieving common goals
- Proactively communicate any cases that could be subject to escalation. Ensure that escalation flow is being respected
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in ADE, Economics or double degree in Business Administration/Economics and Law
2 year experience in banking will be preferable
English (minimum of level of B2, but C1 is a plus) and German is a plus
