Job Title: Vice President, PB Portal and Wise Payments
Location: 525 Washington Boulevard, Suite 600, Jersey City, NJ 07310
Duties: Work closely with internal business users and team manager to understand the requirements, provide business process automation ideas and solutions. Work in agile and fast paced environment. Participate in all facets of Software Development Lifecycle covering requirement analysis, design, architecture, implementation & delivery and maintenance of the application. Interface with management, business and senior technology members in delivery of product solutions. Learn intricacies of bank’s Prime Brokerage IT workflow, involving technical and business processes of various front office, trading and settlement applications and infrastructure. Ensure adherence to all relevant compliance and regulatory policies. Understand business requirements, processes and specifications required to support implementation. Communicate and coordinate effectively with business analysts and cross-functional technology teams. Document technical specifications, functional flows and drive the projects autonomously. Architect and design high performance, robust and scalable systems. Design and implement applications utilizing complex technologies and middleware systems. Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code. Manage end-to-end development cycle from requirements analysis, coding, testing and maintenance. Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to these problems. Provide status updates, proper escalations & reporting to management & business. Manage Source Code repository and support production releases. Ensure coding consistency, coordination of development activities, evaluate and report performance of project. Identify and assist in resolution of risks and issues that will adversely affect planned project milestones. Hands on experience with DevOps tools. Maintain proficiency in programming languages, program development; serve as an expert in area of responsibility. Strictly follow NAR CIB Software Development Lifecycle & Secure SDLC. *Telecommuting permitted 40%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP Paribas RCC Inc. office in Jersey City, NJ.
SALARY: $189,592.00 USD - $210,000.00 USD / year. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.

Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday – Friday)
Job Requirements: Bachelor's / US or Foreign Equivalent in Computer Engineering and ten (10) years of experience in Software Engineering. Must have ten (10) years of experience with: .NET languages C# and VB.NET; ASP.NET framework, MVC, Entity Framework, and WCF; JavaScript, XML, and JSONA; ADO.NET and SQL Server; Expertise in Agile/Scrum Methodologies; and Designing and developing highly scalable web applications with expertise in NET Core, REST, Angular, C#, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript. Must have eight (8) years of experience with: Reengineering existing Payments System UI to Angular/Blazor framework; and Application interaction with real time messaging queues (MQs and Tibco). Must have five (5) years of experience with: Introducing container-orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes) and microservices to the existing DEVOPs infrastructure for application scaling and management; Angular and TypeScript; and Devops Methodologies.
