Job Title: Clarity PPM Consultant/Senior Consultant ( Assistant Manager)

About Business line/Function: RISK

Position Purpose: Permanent Position

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

- Designing and implementing technical solutions within Clarity, including configuring modules (Financial Management, Resource Management, Portfolio Management, etc.), managing user roles/security, and setting up custom fields or workflows.

 - Translating complex business needs into functional and technical specifications. 

 - Leading or executing the end-to-end deployment of Clarity modules, ensuring that the system architecture aligns with the client’s project management methodology.

 - Managing the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from legacy systems into Clarity. Designing or overseeing integrations between Clarity and other enterprise tools (e.g., ERP, Jira, or BI tools).

 - Acting as the Tier 2/3 support lead to resolve complex system bugs, performance issues, or configuration errors.

 - Developing test plans, executing Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the system meets business requirements.

 - Designing and building complex reports and dashboards (using Clarity’s native tools or integrated BI tools like Power BI) to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Contributing Responsibilities

- Developing training materials, conducting training sessions, and creating user manuals to ensure high adoption rates among end-users.

 - Advising stakeholders on how to evolve their PPM maturity model and how Clarity features can support long-term digital transformation goals.

 - Collaborating with PMO (Project Management Office) leaders to ensure the Clarity configuration supports standardized project methodologies.

 - Acting as a bridge between technical IT teams and non-technical business executives to manage expectations regarding system capabilities and timelines.

 - Identifying opportunities to optimize existing workflows and recommending upgrades or new module implementations to enhance organizational efficiency.

 - Mentoring junior consultants, conducting peer reviews of configurations, and contributing to the organization’s internal knowledge base/best practices.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

- Strong hands-on experience with the Clarity PPM configuration, administration and customization.

- Knowledge of PPM processes – Project Management, Resource Planning, Demand Management and Financial Management.

- Understanding of Clarity Studio Objects (portlets, NSQL, GEL Scripts)

- Understanding of SQL and XML.

- Strong communication and Stakeholder management skills.
