Job Title: Application Production Support

Department: WMIS APS

About Business line/Function: CFC (Credit Division)

Position Purpose: 

Part of BNPP Wealth Management in ISPL, this position is created to support production activities for Applications hosted in Singapore and Europe. 

The candidate will play a major role in handling Incidents, BAU service requests and health checks after patching activities. The position will be part of our 24/7 production support shift.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

As part of our Production Support team, you will:  

  • Provide technical support to systems, applications & batches used by Wealth Management  
  • Monitor closely issues raised by monitoring systems or users. 
  • Implement action plan documented in support guides. 
  • Analyze logs when unknown errors happen & enrich the support knowledge articles.  
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service quality and system availability.  
  • Ensure strict compliance with bank processes and escalation procedures.  
  • Work on 24/7 production support (i.e Shifts/Weekend/Public holidays)  

Contributing Responsibilities

Contributing to ISPL events like CSR, Hackathon and Interview drives etc. 

Technical & Behavioral Competencies;

·       Basic understanding of networking and Storage. 

·       Critical thinker with problem solving approach

·       Good written and oral communication skills

·       Good understanding of ITIL practices 

·       Strong knowledge in batch processing

Specific Qualifications:

Total 5+ years of IT experience working in IT infrastructure and application support. 

3 years relevant experience in Linux, Windows, Middleware [WAS/Tomcat], Production Support. Skills Referential (Required knowledge, skills and abilities)

Technical Skills:

·       Knowledge in Oracle, MS SQL database

·       SFTP, AXWAY CFT, Ansible, Docker, Jenkins, Bitbucket, ELK

·       Linux, Unix shell scripting / PowerShell and Windows

·       Middleware technologies (MQ, Kafka, Kubernetes, Tomcat) 

·       Autosys or equivalent, CFT and Dynatrace

Behavioral Skills: 

·       Ability to collaborate & Teamwork

·       Adaptability

·       Ability to share & pass on knowledge

·       Communication skills - oral & written

Education Level: BE / Equivalent
