The role
As Director, the successful candidate will be the strategic lead for key relationships on behalf of a prestigious client base including both private Estates and corporate clients. You will also be responsible for team performance and strategy, identifying and delivering income growth, mentoring and providing opportunities for career development within the team, as well as maximising cross selling opportunities with other teams in the business throughout the UK.
Responsibilities
• Acting as principal agent for a selection of key estate management clients representing the most impressive Estates
• Undertaking estate and farming business reviews
• Handling diversification projects
• Assisting clients with the promotion of strategic land
• Manage and lead a high performing team.
• Maintain a strong client base; working with both private Estates and corporate clients
Key Skill
• A team leader, reliable, friendly, approachable and supportive, able to inspire others, to coach and develop people’s skills.
• Entrepreneurial, dynamic and able to apply professional and commercial judgement to deliver results.
• Competent and experienced MRICS qualified rural surveyor with experience of delivering work across a range of projects.
• Demonstrate team leadership potential, capable of building relationships with existing and new clients and generating new opportunities.
• Possess a composed manner in order to be able to work under pressure.
• Good time management and ability to prioritise workloads.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills - must be capable of building and maintaining good relationships with team members, other colleagues and clients.

Person specification
• Educated to degree level
• MRICS qualified rural surveyor
Experience
• Strong track record in rural asset and estate management
• Proficient in the use of Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Previous experience of working to deadlines
• Managing a team
