The role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Corporate Affairs Manager/Internal Communications Manager to join the Marketing & Communications team. This role will support the Head of Marketing & Communications and the Head of Communications to drive the internal and external profile of BNP Paribas Real Estate and Strutt & Parker. The role will report into the Head of Communications, working closely with the Marketing, PR, Chief Operational Officer (COO) and HR department, to deliver integrated employee communications and corporate campaigns as required by the business. The role will ensure employees are informed, inspired, and aligned with the company’s values, purpose, and strategic priorities.
Responsibilities:
Internal Communications Strategy & Campaigns
- Lead the execution of a consistent and compelling internal communications strategy that aligns with corporate priorities and business goals.
- Partner with leadership to translate strategic initiatives into engaging content that resonates with employees.
- Develop and deliver campaigns on key EDI initiatives such as Gender & Ethnicity Pay Gap Report, business transformation, policy changes, and other high-impact moments.
- Collaborate with HR to develop and deliver campaigns to enhance employee experience and engagement throughout the year on a range of activity (Annual employee survey, promotions, performance reviews, learning and development priorities).
Channels & Content Management
- Manage key internal comms channels (intranet, newsletters, employee emails, webinars, video content), ensuring content is engaging, timely, and relevant.
- Work with the editorial team to deliver the weekly newsletters ensuring messaging is consistent and inclusive of all four business lines.
- Editorial responsibility for the intranet (EchoNet), ensuring the homepage is regularly updated with key news from across the business and respective business line page editors are trained how to use the platform correctly.
Leadership Communications
- Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to create and deliver communications that support business performance, strategic direction, and company culture.
- Support the Head of Marketing and Communications and Head of Communications on leadership communications programmes including CEO hybrid events, business line webinars and employee updates. This will involve collating information from business leaders, creating accompanying presentation material and developing an effective strategy to cascade information via internal channels.
- Support internal messaging around business strategy and organisational change.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Lead on delivering an effective communications programme for the company’s EDI programme, Building Belonging. This will include developing overall strategy with the Head of Marketing & Communications, creating key messaging to support the programme, and managing campaigns internally and externally (including social media) on agreed moments in the year, e.g. International Women’s Day, Pride and Black History Month, alongside serving as an active member of the EDI Committee.
- Work closely with the Chair of the Charity Committee and the Corporate Charity Partner to coordinate and promote employee charity initiatives to help achieve our fundraising and volunteering targets.
Executive Social Media Support
- Manage external social media presence for senior executives with a focus on growth, ESG, diversity, and leadership, enhancing visibility and thought leadership.

Person specification
- Experience of working in an employee communications role
- An excellent communicator - confident in contributing new ideas and delivering innovative, engaging, results-driven campaigns.
- A strong communicator who is confident in advising stakeholders and managing expectations in line with the wider business priorities.
- A skilled writer with the ability to translate complex content into engaging copy. Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance.
- Proven ability to operate a multi-channel internal communications infrastructure
- Experience in reporting to ensure the continued effectiveness of communication campaigns and channels.
- An ability to work closely with other members of the marketing and communications team to support the broader company strategy.
- A willingness to provide cover out of hours when necessary.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Strong interpersonal, team-working and organisational and project management skills are vital to the success of the role, as is the ability to work at pace and flexibly to meet project deadlines, and to be comfortable working with senior leadership.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- Strong experience of corporate communications/ internal communications
- Comfortable advising senior leadership
- Excellent creative eye
- A flair for writing
- Ability to multi-task as well as prioritise workload
