About the role

The Securitisation Analyst is a unique role, which is not your usual financial role. This will be joining a strong and stable finance department and be supporting the implementation and delivery of all the company’s Securitisation activities.

The Securitisation Analyst will work with a variety of stakeholders including the existing Finance department, IT and third-party funding partners to ensure that all daily and monthly cash flows accounted for correctly. You will also take ownership for month end closing accounting processes and balance sheet reconciliations.  

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Perform reconciliations between accounting and various internal systems
  • Monitoring and analysis of accounting anomalies between systems
  • Monitoring of daily / monthly cash flows relating to the securitised assets
  • Monitoring and testing of developments relating to the accounting schemes and processes

What we’re looking for

You will be a highly competent Microsoft Excel user, and confidently use Pivot Tables, vlookup's and advance formulae in your day-to-day work. Knowledge of SQL/ Coding would be beneficial but not essential.

Using your excellent organisational skills, you should be able to manage your workload to ensure deadlines are met and be able to absorb information effectively and be confident in your own abilities.

You’ll also be able to demonstrate:

  • Ability to collaborate and work within a team
  • Organisational capacity and deadline management
  • Ownership and time management

The package

We offer a basic starting salary of up to £33,000, plus a bonus of up to £1,900.  We also offer 25 days holiday as standard, plus bank holidays, an extra day off for your birthday, and the option to purchase an additional 5 days.
