About the Role

You'll oversee the forecasting of residual values with precision, control, and a forward-thinking mindset. As a respected voice in the industry, you’ll work directly with manufacturers to evaluate new vehicle launches, attend product reveal events, and ensure Arval UK is recognised as a strategic OEM partner.

Internally, you’ll collaborate across departments, championing a joined-up approach to vehicle value setting and process improvement. You’ll also maintain strong links with both the UK Asset Risk function and the Corporate Centre to align on policies and promote best practice.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the team responsible for Residual Value, Estimated Market Value and market coefficient analysis.
  • Driving consistency through the implementation of Arval UK’s asset valuation methodologies.
  • Acting as a technical expert in vehicle valuation analysis and forecast modelling.
  • Representing Arval UK at key industry events – in the UK and internationally – to stay ahead of market trends.
  • Building strong, collaborative relationships across departments including Controlling and Group Asset Valuation.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a driven and commercially aware asset valuation expert, with hands-on experience in residual value forecasting and a deep understanding of the used car market, depreciation trends, and total cost of ownership.

You’ll combine analytical strength with excellent communication skills – equally comfortable discussing data models or strategic partnerships. If you’re passionate about vehicles, valuations, and bringing value through insight, we want to hear from you.

You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in the automotive industry, in asset valuation or asset risk.
  • Advanced data modelling and analysis skills.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement experience – from peers to senior leadership.
  • A proactive, self-starting mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Experience using Auto Futura (desirable).

The package

We offer a basic starting salary of up to £65,000, plus a bonus of up to £8,900.  We also offer 25 days holiday as standard, plus bank holidays, an extra day off for your birthday, and the option to purchase an additional 5 days.
