JOB CONTENT
ROLE DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE
The purpose of the role is to enhance the BNP Paribas Easy Franchise (ETF and index solutions) in the UK & Ireland through sales, marketing and communication across the territory. The Sales Manager will be required to build and manage relations across all professional clients, having a strong focus on private banks, asset management companies, independent wealth managers and institutional investors, with the goal of bringing ETF & index solution assets to the forefront and increasing the ETF market share.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Service existing clients
- Acquire new business via both potential/new and existing clients in coordination with the Regional Head of UK & Ireland
- Execute the BNP Paribas Easy Strategy in the UK & Ireland, in line with the given KPI's
- Suggest marketing activities
- Position BNP Paribas Asset Management as the ETF/Index provider of choice with clients
- Leverage existing franchise in the region and in partnership with local sales colleagues
- Advise Sales Management on market developments and potential new strategies
KEY INTERNAL / EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS
- An international ETF Specialist Sales team
- A local Sales Team based in London (covering BNP Paribas Asset Management in UK & Ireland) with whom to cooperate and coordinate management of client relationships
- ETF/Index PM and Investment Specialists
- BNP CIB

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Product / technical knowledge (ETFs or other financial instruments)
- Strong knowledge of the UK Wholesale, Advisory and Retail markets
- Sales experience including successful management of client relationships and business development
- Strong knowledge of and experience in the following business fields: commercial development & customer relationships, client and regional knowledge, financial markets
- Strong all-round communication skills with an ability to influence and negotiate
- High commitment, energy and ‘drive’ to succeed in an international and diverse commercial environment
- University degree (bachelor and/or master) is an advantage
