- By integrating the Data Management team, the Data Quality Senior Officer works in a best-in-class data management team, in an international and dynamic environment
Your Main Activities Are
- Be responsible for identifying, escalating and contributing to the remediation of data quality issues
- Perform data quality controls and analysis in a continuous mode:
- Before each quarterly closing, by anticipating issues thanks to early detection systems
- After each quarterly closing, by identifying residual issues and contributing to their remediation
- Ensure data quality methodological support and best practices deployment
- Interact with the Credit Portfolio Analysis team and Strategic Risk Analysis teams on activities associated to data quality and give them visibility on the follow-up of issues & actions ongoing with the various Data Offices
- Drive and monitor the action plans to address structural data quality issues in close cooperation with Finance, RISK, IT and the various Data Office teams, as well as Group data initiatives such as Credit Chain Initiative when relevant
- Collaborate on the evaluation and improvement of prioritized data quality when required
- Analyze the impacts of ongoing or upcoming projects on data quality;
- Support the deployment of new versions of the Data Control Catalog and Group Nomenclatures
- Participate and contribute to data governance bodies (QARC’s)
- Participate and contribute to the BCBS239 data project for the Credit Filière
- Regularly update the management of the department of progress achieved
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor Degree in Economics / Finance / Data Science or related
- At least 3 years of experience in Risk and Controls or similar
- Advanced level of English, both written and oral
- Knowledge in
- MS Office Pack (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Dataiku/Python
- Database management
- Data Analysis tools
- Attention to detail / rigor
- Ability to manage a project
- Ability to synthetise / simplify
- Communication skills, both written and oral
