Junior FX Sales
This position will be based in Zurich
YOUR WORK DAY
The junior FX Sales is part of the FX and Local Markets (FXLM) Sales team based in Zurich and part of a broader FXLM sales & trading organisation. The junior sales is expected to run its own clients’ book and actively be part of a well-recognised and successful sales and trading set up. The FXLM sales will primarily market and advise FX, Local Markets and Precious Metals to our Swiss Financial Institutions client base.
Main activities:
- Promote the Group’s brand, products and services to existing clients and prospects
- Ascertain the needs of clients and provide clients with market data, prices and other factual information
- Carry out clients’ instructions to execute transactions with the trading desk
- Book the client’s side deal details in the trade capture systems and comply with front confirmations and reporting clients bespoke requirements
- As appropriate liaise with relevant internal risk functions: legal, compliance, market and credit risk management as well as direct contribution to BNP Paribas operational permanent control framework
- Attend relevant training courses to maintain appropriate regulatory, product and technical skills
- Maintain open communication with team and direct line management to fulfil firm notification requirements and share clients comments
YOUR SKILLS & PROFILE
- Graduated from University with a Master’s Degree in Banking, Finance, Economics or Mathematics or equivalent qualification
- At least 2 years of experience in banking within Global Markets with a relevant FX and Local Markets (FXLM) Sales experience
- Fluency in German and English (our primary working language), Swiss German and any other language are a plus
- Very good understanding and a genuine interest for financial markets (derivatives, financial market instruments, etc.)
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a dynamic personality
