Junior Business Analyst in BCM FA Depositary 

Depositary Fund Accounting Department is part of BSO global domain of BNP Paribas providing fiduciary services mainly to institutional clients. Our main goal is to produce fully independent NAV serving as a reference for verification of fund prices submitted to by Fund Administrators.

Junior Business Analyst in FA Depo BCM team is an exciting opportunity for a candidate looking for the next step in the career. On this position you will provide technical support to business operations, work on maintenance of digital tools, participate in global IT projects and cooperate with internal IT departments

Requirements:

  • Proven knowledge and experience in usage of data processing and analytics
  • Advanced skills of MS Office tools. Additionally extended knowledge of VBA, SQL and Power BI
  • Advanced numeric skills and strong attention to details
  • Understanding of fund accounting operational and reconciliation processes and workflows 
  • Ability to analyze business processes, identify gaps and recommend solutions
  • Ability to go beyond existing frameworks by identifying new ideas to bring innovative solutions for the client
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to interact with stakeholders and translate technical details into business terms
  • Proactive attitude, willingness to learn and adaptability to fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage tasks effectively
  • Being part of Business Automation Committee would be a plus

Responsibilities: 

  • As a member of BCM Team your main responsibilities will be:
  • Supporting automatization of the business processes by identification, data providing, analyzing and suggesting proposal of the solution
  • Collecting and processing business-related data for Frankfurt, Milan and UK that show KPIs, workload and  performance of key applications 
  • Delivering technical input/feedback from database perspective to BSO Innovation Community that works on BAU changes
  • Preparing reports, dashboards or presentations for management review.
  • Providing technical support during project life- cycles, including scoping, planning, execution and post-implementation analyses
  • Taking full ownership on monitoring Shadow Light IT inventory 
  • Providing support on bulk upload of various transactions into MF when extraordinary event takes place 
  • Creating PIDs (Project Initiation Documents) necessary for tickets on business changes raised in JIRA Lanta
  • Checking data upload (MF/FAML) in terms of correctness and complexity before production phase
  • Supporting ad-hoc business changes in parametrization, set up in business tools (like INM/MF, etc.) 
  • Being single point of contact for:
    • Business Automation Team in regards to data analysis on opened requests 
    • as well  complex requests on IT Aps (raising tickets, monitoring, delivering update, communication)
  • Supporting PM new releases testing for MF/LHS/INM, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
  • Keeping updates on:
    • registers concerning commonly used business tools
    • static data used in BAU (for example OTUI database)
    •  reports sent to external counterparties
