Business Overview:
The Hispanic Latin America region is a key market for BNP Paribas. While Brazil remains the largest economy in Latin America, other major countries in the region are also significant contributors for the business and for long standing relations with clients. For example, BNP Paribas has been uninterruptedly present in Colombia for more than 40 years.
BNP Paribas has a historical footprint in the Hispanic Latin America. The Bank has been in the region since 1914 and is now present in five countries with nearly 2000 employees between Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) and International Financial Services.
CIB in Hispanic Latin America has world-class teams of roughly 200 professionals spread among Colombia, Mexico, Chile, Peru and Argentina, thus ensuring an overall coverage of BNP Paribas’ client franchise in the region. All BNP Paribas’ business lines have operations in Hispanic Latin America and are structured in such a way as to provide their clients with the best combination of specialists according to sector, product or geographic region. In the context of growing globalization, they are able to accommodate their clients thanks to their powerful regional platforms:
- In North America (essentially New York but also other hubs such as Houston and San Francisco) and Brazil (Sao Paulo) with a number of professionals covering Latin America.
- In the whole of Europe with major hubs such as Paris, London, Frankfurt, Madrid, etc.
- In Asia with a broad coverage of all major economies in the region.
In Colombia, BNP Paribas has presence through five entities representing the Group: the Rep. Office, the Corporación Financiera and a Trust company for the Corporate and Institutional Banking pole. As for International Financing Services, an insurance company (Cardif) and a Rep Office for Asset Management Services. BNP Paribas is the European bank with the longest uninterrupted presence in the country.
Job Purpose
:
Monitor and ensure accuracy of the components of the Operational Risk, Permanent Control Framework and Employee Data Managment within a Regional HR scope.
Duties and Responsibilities
- HLATAM EDM Support
- Responsible of submitting onboarding requests through the Service Now System in order to provide new employees with their basic initial IT access badge and profile.
- Responsible of submitting offboarding requests through the Exit process System in order to manage employees IT access badge and profile when leaving the company or moving to another entity or location.
- Responsible of the recording of employees data during the onboarding and offboarding processes, whilst creating employee records within group´s EDM systems (People Soft & SPEAR)
- Responsible of updating and maintaining employee records concerning personal, employment and Job data within local and group´s EDM systems (OPAL, People Soft, SPEAR)
- Support HLTAM OPC / ORC
- Support with the monitor of the key controls, by document the results with in a template and saving the related evidence.
- Supports HL HR OPC with the by helping with the redaction of actions plans and procedures.
- Support the follow up of the recommendations, PCA, APL
- Help with the controls framework follow up.
- Collaborate in the construction of the LCP File that contain the control name, frequency evidence, how must be perfomed the controls
- Work closely with the Hispanic Latam team and participate in global or regional calls.
- With supervision acts as a back up uploading information to ORUS and Personal Data Protection systems.
- Employee Screening
- Performs employee screening (KYE) first level of review for Hispanic Latam.
- Conduct:
Comply with all applicable regulations (local or those defined by Group) and BNPP internal policies as well as Code of Conduct. This includes but is not limited to Financial Security, Due Diligence, Professional Ethics and Respect for colleagues.
Qualifications
- Education
Professional or Technical studies in administrative areas(accountant, engineer, bussiness.
