The Head of APAC IT Storage infrastructure assists head of APAC IT Storage/Backup/Virtualization to manage the team of storage and backup members, manage and maintain the backup and storage infrastructure to provide stable, cost-effective and performing storage and backup environment to the business across Asia Pacific within BNPP.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Management
Responsible for the overall operations of Storage in APAC (infrastructure in Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, China, Australia and Indonesia)
Must have a continual improvement and risk mitigation focus and improve the monitoring, efficiency, reliability, capacity and quality of all IT services.
Guarantee functioning of the Storage infrastructure in APAC, taking into account business requirements
Responsible for having an operational up-to-date BCP, documented and tested.
Financial Management
Prepares the regional budget for the Storage area ensuring aggressive negotiations, cost-effective solutions and management of the IT spend.
Team Management
Build and lead a regional team (team spanned across Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, China, Australia and Indonesia)
Must ensure staffing is sufficient and fully competent through recruitment, training and mentoring.
Maintain a dual-setup (SG/HK)
Business relationships
Manages the relationship with major stakeholders of the Data Management Tower
Must build a strong relationship with our internal customers in APAC.
Governance
Responsible for the SLA section related to the Storage: SLA definition, reporting, dashboards
Ensure the coordination and collaboration with Global Head of the relevant functional area
Ensure that the instructions and guidelines of the Group (esp. IT Security guidelines and Global D&P Governance) are respected and the architecture is validated
Customer / Supplier Relations

NetBackup and TSM

Control of backup policies
Storage and Backup Migration/Consolidation
Project Implementation from UAT to PRODUCTION
Infrastructure management

Specific Qualifications preferred
At least 8-10 years experience in a complex IT infrastructure environment
At least 5+ years of experience with Enterprise Storage/Backup Infrastructure administration
Experience in an investment banking-focus business
Experience in at least 2 technologies and 2 environments listed above.
Team management (in a split environment is a plus)
Budget management
Fluency in English
