Description of the role:
As a Global Marketing Intern, you will support the delivery of strategic campaigns aimed at retail and wholesale clients. Working within the marketing team, you will gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, event coordination, and reporting, contributing to BNPP AM’s visibility and client engagement efforts. You will also have the opportunity to work with the other global segment managers covering institutional and ETFs, supporting them in some of their deliverables.
You will play a key role in supporting our global marketing campaigns, specifically by supporting the delivery of marketing activities. You will support on the delivery of key marketing initiatives such as email campaigns, delivery of content items, production of videos, coordination of global events, updating global digital hubs, putting together result metrics, support the campaign manager in overall management and delivery of the campaigns that support Equities, Fixed Income, or Multi-Asset products.
Your role and responsibilities will include:
- Help to deliver on strategic and sales campaigns, by providing support for the delivery of activities such as email campaigns, delivery of content items, production of videos, coordination of global events, updating global digital hubs, putting together result metrics, support the campaign manager in overall management and delivery of the campaigns that support Equities, Fixed Income, or Multi-Asset products.
- Work with the brand and advertising team to help deliver content across channels such as advertising, content and video syndication. While providing support on researching the competitor audit / landscape.
- Work with the research & insights team to deliver the global email strategy including the creation of email templates, building campaign distribution lists and reporting on metrics through the campaign management tool.
- Help the global marketing team to increase further its profile and facilitate access to a global marketing content repository, this will involve taking responsibility for sharing our content internally as well and being key in helping to maintain our global marketing SharePoint.
- Suggest/implement new processes, procedures or practices that help the team become a more efficient and effective resource for the BNPP AM business.
- Help manage the team’s overall efficiency by helping to prepare meetings as well as maintaining workflows and pipeline documents as and when relevant.
- Help the team to efficiently and effectively manage their budgets, co-ordinate with raising PO, updating budget spreadsheets and confirming actual spend etc.
- Structured development: The candidate will have the opportunity to shadow marketing managers and marketing executives over the course of the placement, to learn more about, and contribute to, global marketing strategy and execution within an international fund management business.
- Skills-based development: Over time the candidate will also take ownership of ad hoc marketing projects to develop project management and broader communications skills. The candidate will also be expected to develop investment knowledge and understanding of the fund management industry as a whole through exposure to fund management and investment sales teams.
Education Skills & Experience
- Currently entering the 3rd year of a 4-year degree, ideally with a focus on either marketing / communications / economics / finance / business
- A confident communicator with excellent written and spoken English
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Creative, proactive, and eager to learn
- Previous interest or experience in financial markets is helpful
- Creative and enthusiastic self-starter
