Data Access Product Designer
Position Purpose
The Product Designer of BNP Paribas CIB Securities Services is responsible to design the uses case & expected configuration and ensure the alignment with the client expectation. The product designer will be responsible to document the business requirements and to liaise with the Central team and the team of a 3rd party FinTech to articulate the requirements. He / She will define and implement the strategic roadmap of Data@ccess for both existing clients and prospects.
He / she will support Clients in their daily usage of Data@ product and through product life cycle (bugs, CR, evol).and play a role of advisor in the best way to leverage the solution and platform.
The DM Service product designer will be located in Australia.
Responsibilities
1. PRODUCT OWNERSHIP MAIN ACTIVITIES
- Main Activities:
- Design and document new and agreed Use Cases
- Coordinate all areas involved in d@ (functions, IT)
- Market watch and Competition analysis
- Anticipate future needs and evolutions of D@
- Very close client interaction to understand their requirements and design a solution aligned with their expectations
- Advise Clients in their daily usage of D@ product and through product life cycle (bugs, CR, evol).
- Business analysis + BRD (initial and CRs): i.e will formalize the BRDs to 3rd party fintech
- And will ensure validation of BRDs with:
- Operations - to ensure consistency with TOM and inclusion of any nuance need from a operation’s perspective to provide the service)
- Global Products – to ensure request is aligned and within the overall DataAccess product strategy
2. Participate to the testing phase to validate new developments prior to UAT by OPS and ultimately by the client BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Identify key targets and provide prospects and clients with product capabilities and business operating models
- Actively engage with clients to identify new opportunities or answer their requirements / pain points
- Adapt product / pricing / legal if required - to align with local market practices
- Support the team in the planning and execution for any new products and initiatives
- Assist with preparation for client presentation and documentation.
3. P&L AND RISK MANAGEMENT
- Identify risk issues (regulatory, operational, clients) and propose appropriate actions
