Senior Credit Structurer (M/F)

Permanent Contract

Objectives

With the Credit Structurer, we find the ideal teammate to the Relationship Managers, eager to support them and ensuring that the offer meets the needs of their clients and the Bank’s risk and profitability requirements.

You will handle all credit requests, structure and negotiate conventional and innovative financing proposals within the Entrepreneurs & Family segment (Key and Strategic Clients).

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership and lead in each client need or request.
  • Participate in client meetings and take the lead in structuring conventional and innovative financing solutions.
  • Participate in client negotiations by supporting the Relationship Managers in their approach and ensuring that they intervene as far upstream as possible in order to ensure that the offer meets the client needs and the Bank’s risk and profitability requirements.
  • Coordinate the various technical components of a credit file with the specialists concerned (PIV, Legal, Tax, Credit Contracting, Financial Offer, GRM, etc.).
  • Present credit files to the Credit Committee.
  • Write Lombard loan documentation.
  • Participate in the development of the Entrepreneurs & Family segment financing offer and in the search for external partnerships to develop the segment.
  • Contribute to the proper monitoring of risks arising from the Entrepreneurs & Family segment credit operations.
  • Actively share knowledge and expertise within the Credit department and teams.

Working environment

This position is based in Luxembourg.

Your profile

Education: 

Master’s degree (Business School or equivalent).

Professional experience

  • You have several years of experience within a client-facing department and/or credit department. Experience in structured finance is seen as an advantage.
  • Financial analysis skills and strong legal and tax concepts are desired.

  • Initiatiating and ability to propose innovative solutions
  • Team spirit and ability to work in groups

Technical skills:

You can easily handle standard office automation tools (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, OUTLOOK, ACCESS).

Language Skills:

Very good oral and written knowledge of French and English, any additional language, in particular Dutch, being an advantage.

During the finalization of the recruitment process, the preselected candidate will be asked to provide us an extract from his/her criminal record dated less than 3 months (record N°3 for Luxembourg), according to the dispositions of the law from July 23 2016 concerning the criminal record.
