Project Management Office (PMO) in 2S plays an important part in managing projects that are migrated from Spoke locations to India IOC.  PMO is responsible for maintaining project standards and ensures that projects are delivered withing agreed timelines

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion
  • Directly manage 5-6 client onboarding / transition projects related to Operations processes in the Securities Services domain
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Proactively address potential challenges to minimize delays and disruptions
  • Be adept at handling lift & shift of operations, transformational projects, implementation of new tools for the location and strategic projects
  • Ensuring Risks & Issues are managed proactively; various transition deliverables are documented and signed off before go-live
  • Develop strong, positive, constructive relationships with multiple senior stakeholders 
  • Lead matrix teams to deliver high quality results
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

Contributing Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to the Transition Methodology and Outsourcing Compliance for self and team
  • Contribute to building a world class Program / Project Management discipline

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

  • Proven Project Management skills
  • Should have managed and led transitions in a similar setup (Securities Services) either in a captive / third party environment and transitioned Operations from overseas to India
  • Strong interpersonal communication and coaching skills, capable of explaining, teaching, training in a highly effective manner
  • Strong People Management skills
  • Ability to mentor, coach and upskill his/her/their team to efficiently deliver on complex projects/ programs

Specific Qualifications (if required)

  • PMP / Prince 2 / ACP certified highly preferred
  • MBA preferred
