Job Title: Assistant Vice President, Operational Permanent Control
Location: 735 Chesterbrook Blvd, Chesterbrook, PA 19087
Duties: Anticipate risks and obstacles and devise plans to manage them. Effectively communicate and partner well with others to accomplish goals. Understand and translate strategies into specific goals, tactics, action plans, and deliverables. Assist in identification and assessment on risk related Custody, Corporate Trust and OMP (operations, middle office and product) activities within Securities services. Manage and support quality control reviews and add value through a recommendation/action plan. Assist business in developing procedures, Including the design of standard control and testing procedures, templates and methodology, and the inclusion of protocols and mandates for Control. Historical incidents follow up across Operational Teams. Operational Risk must ensure that all historical operational risk incidents are escalated, reported in the relevant databases, and fully analyzed. Perform deep dives with
Business Support Unit to ensure identification and remediation of root cause related to an incident. Contribute to the preparation of Conduct and Operational Risk Committee (CORE). Contribute to the preparation of the reporting for the Internal Controls Committee. Telecommuting permitted 40%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP Paribas Financial Services LLC office in Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania.
SALARY: $101,317 / year
Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday – Friday)
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or Foreign Equivalent) in Finance, Information Technology, or related field and three (3) years of experience in Securities services operations. Must have one (1) year of experience with the following: experience with incident recording and monitoring and following up on the implementation of action plan using the securities services database BIRDIE; determining automated solutions on risky process using available internal and external tools; utilizing dashboards and RAID logs to track and assist in management of priorities open with different stakeholder; assisting in identification of solutions related to risk generated from the business; and operating successfully within a team spread throughout multiple remote locations, and partnering with other cross-functional teams such as finance, legal, audit, compliance, etc.
