Support and maintain overall IT infrastructure, applications and client services for all legal entities in Malaysia, including BNPP Labuan Branch in Labuan.
Responsible to support and administer IT systems at BCP site for the bank operation resumption.
Ensure the coordination with APAC IT Infrastructure, GB IT & Production team.
Involve in execution of projects for APAC systems as well as BNM’s systems and applications.
Manage and maintain of datacenter and disaster recovery sites in Malaysia
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
To assist Head of IT Department
To support business users for technical issues comprise of infrastructure and applications for workstations and laptops.
To manage and support overall IT infrastructure and applications, and ensure daily operation runs smooth. Systems to support include of all equipment in the server room and IT facilities room; and business users IT equipment.
Supporting, maintaining and execute projects of BNM’s system and applications.
Provide support during for disaster and disaster recovery tests, including systems and workstations at the disaster recovery site.
Ensure IT documentations are up to date.
To support ad-hoc projects in accordance to IT standards and policies.
Ensure daily / weekly checking of systems health is executed to ensure systems’ high availability.
Collaborate with APAC teams’ for new projects, upgrading and troubleshooting for overall IT matters.
On-Call Rotations Support for any security patching, incidents, maintenance, system cutover etc.
Execute additional tasks as and when delegated by IT Head
Competencies (Technical / Behavioral)
MUST have at least minimum of 10 years’ experience deploying, managing, supporting:-
Infrastructure: Windows/ Linux; Network – switches, cabling, Internet, Wireless Technology; Netbackup and recovery; Proxy and firewall rule concept.
Applications: Local Financial applications such Chequeworks, GWC, IBG, CCRIS, PIDM, RPP,eMandate & etc.
Others: Excel macros, SQL database.
Specific Qualifications Required
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology
Must have minimum 2-5 years of experience in Bank supporting BNM applications and IT Infrastructure support; including projects and Disaster Recovery
Resourceful and able to work independently and as a team player.
Able to communicate in English
