Position Purpose

The current requirement is to on board a Developer, who can participate in the development of enhancements required for the application. The associate will be working in one of the strategic projects of BNP Paribas and will help in developing applications to be used by Corporate Clients. The candidate should possess good interpersonal skills and experience in multi-geographical work model. The candidate should be very strong in coding and technical knowledge.

Ø  Should be able to understand business requirements and develop high quality code

Ø  Adhere to project process and guidelines

Ø  Understand functional domain of the project and strive to achieve user expectations

Ø  Flexible to work in both front end and backend technologies

Ø  Continuously improve on technical skills and share knowledge with the team 

Contributing Responsibilities

Ø  Perform code review for the peers

Ø  Conduct unit tests and integration tests

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Required technical skills:

Ø  Java / Spring - Knowledge of Java8 features & design principles

Ø  Hibernate - Expert in annotation based entity mapping

Ø  Oracle - Able to write complex queries

Ø  Type script

Ø  HTML5 & CSS3 - Expert in applying styles for elements

Behavioral Competencies:

Ø  Must have good communication skills

Ø  Must have experience in Onshore & Offshore working model

Ø  Must have worked in Agile projects and strong in Agile ceremonies

Ø  Expert in the technical frameworks and interested to learn new frameworks

Ø  Experience in any defect tracking tools / Jira

Ø  Experience in analysis and troubleshooting skills

Specific Qualifications (if required)

Ø  The candidate should have strong coding knowledge in Java, Spring, Hibernate and Oracle

Ø  Knowledge of front end frameworks like CSS, Bootstrap & Angular are added advantage

Ø  The candidate should have good knowledge in Java Design Patterns
