Job Title: Associate Vice President/ Vice President 

Department: Data- Analytics Integrity

About Business line/Function: The Data & Analytics Management team oversees the collection, administration, and control of critical data supporting various business lines at BNP Paribas Asset Management. As part of this department, the Analytics Integrity team ensures the quality and support of position, transaction, and computed data across major systems like Aladdin and Adjuto. The team operates globally, working closely with the Data Referential and Governance divisions to provide seamless data integrity for liquid, derivative, and alternative investment assets. This role is essential to strengthening our European support capabilities and enabling a robust ‘follow-the-sun’ support model across multiple time zones.

Position Purpose: The successful candidate will be an experienced manager driving process improvements with a collaborative management style and ability to create a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor a team of senior Investment Data Analysts, overseeing workload distribution, staff training, and daily operational fluidity.
  • Guarantee the integrity, consistency, and proper integration of data from various sources into downstream systems, implementing rigorous second-level controls over external service providers.
  • Lead a "follow-the-sun" support model, managing shift rotations (including night shifts) to provide proactive, 24/7 assistance to global users across Europe, the US, and APAC.
  • Act as the primary liaison between internal teams (Data Governance, IT, Business) and major external service providers (e.g., Blackrock, State Street) through regular governance meetings.
  • Serve as the point of contact for user escalations, proposing effective solutions and coordinating with Technology teams to ensure consistent, high-quality issue resolution.
  • Leverage expertise in data modelling and operational processes to support various IT and Business project teams, while maintaining meticulous tracking of critical topics and milestones.

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper data integration collected from referential (or any other source) in downstream systems 
  • Understanding transformation and computation (simple or complex) applied to generate all computed data within our system
  • Support various Project Teams (IT or Business), based on team's expertise and understanding of operational processes and data modelling.
  • Oversight and accountability for day-to-day processing of the team, ensuring excellent client service and risk management
  • Coordinate actions with other Data Management Teams and Technology for issue resolution
  • Ensure overall consistency of the implemented solution, for the end user.
  • Provide team members with necessary assistance or training, as part of their daily activity
  • Guarantee the quality and consistency of data 
  • Developing team members and creating an environment that encourages innovation and supports personal growth for team members 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Compilation of monthly statistics to manage the business, ensuring KPIs are met or remediation plans are in place
  • Ensure any deviation from our standard operating models are formally agreed internally and documented with the onshore oversight location

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

  • At least ten-year experience in Finance (ideally asset management), including significant experience in operational roles (Data or IT, front, middle or back office)
  • Thorough understanding of operational processes and usage of major data users (portfolio management, middle office, risk, quant, compliance, financial controllers)
  • Application experience in Aladdin, Adjuto

Specific Qualifications:

  • Be autonomous in analysing and solving complex requests from end-users (no Standard Operating Procedure)
  • Understand the data in-flows and out-flows, the technical architecture around these data flows and technical / business transformations applied to data
  • Proactivity when identifying operational risks, taking necessary initiatives for risk mitigation
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to perform control checks, investigate discrepancies and escalate appropriately.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English; ability to liaise with multiple internal and external parties
  • Very rigorous and strong organizational competencies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, good listening skills
  • Determined to facilitate situations in-order-to achieve results
  • Must be open to work on APAC, EMEA or US shifts

Skills Referential (Required knowledge, skills and abilities)

Technical Skills:
