In March 2014, BNP Paribas opened a training centre in the Asia-Pacific region. The Campus, located in Singapore, is both a training site for employees in the Asia-Pacific region and an ideal location for holding events, conferences and seminars.
Located in the heart of a dynamic economic region, the centre is a place for sharing, reflection and collective learning, fostering the growth and development of all Group employees.
Each year, many employees in the region, as well as employees from the 75 countries in which the bank operates, can receive training. The Campus offers advanced programs in training and development in eight areas: Talent Development, Leadership & Management, Individual Skills, Risk & Credit, Compliance & Regulatory, Product & Technical proficiencies, Diversity & Inclusion and Business Culture & Social Responsibility.
Located on a 14,000m² property, the Campus consists of 2 restored historic buildings incorporating a modern infrastructure and the latest technologies. The training teams have access to a 200-seat auditorium, 14 training and conference rooms, 9 fully-equipped meeting rooms, and outdoor verandas and gardens, as well as a restaurant.
“BNP Paribas is one of the best positioned international banks in Asia Pacific. The region plays a key role in the Group's 2014-2016 global business development plan. We are committed to investing more in talent both here in Singapore and in Asia Pacific. Having been present in the region for over 150 years, we employ over 8,000 people in a wide range of businesses spanning 14 markets; people development is one of our core values and is key to continued success. In partnership with the Singapore Government, we have built this world class facility which underlines our ambitions for both Singapore and the wider Asia Pacific region,” said Eric Raynaud, Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Asia Pacific.
BNP Paribas believes that employees are a company's greatest asset. BNP Paribas' Asia-Pacific campus exemplifies the Group's strategy in the region in terms of growth and human resources.
