About Business line/Function:

The Server Infrastructure team is responsible for supervising, monitoring, and developing the Server of the regional Hub of BNP Paribas in the India region, liaising with BNP Paribas Head Offices where all major banking applications are hosted. Position Purpose

Design and participate in the deployment of resilient and high-performance infrastructure solutions in internal and public clouds as a Product Owner around VMWARE technology.

• Maintain production services in operational condition 24/7 

• Provide level 3 technical support as a technical expert with the following objectives: Train / Document / Automate / Improve

• Work closely with global CIB infrastructure teams (Madrid, APAC, AMER, MEA, INDIA) to define strategy and ensure global alignment

• Manage, monitor and lead technical projects independently

• Participate in major projects as SPOC VMWARE Infrastructure

Provide the expected expertise support VIRTUALIZATION VMWARE in order to maintain the Production IT environment in operational conditions.

• Automate and Industrialize the technical solutions that will be delivered

• Ensure that you always respect the BNP CIB security policies in force

• Design, troubleshoot and maintain enterprise virtualization platforms

• Work closely with the Nearshoring team in Madrid/Warsaw and ensure overall alignment with AMER and APAC

• Work in a team environment and foster open communication to ensure knowledge transfer to team members

• Design products and services around the cloud by preparing product specifications and managing the Lifecycle

• Know how to evolve in a very dynamic environment that offers and promotes digital technologies and innovation.

Contributing Responsibilities

The Digital Platform domain within the CIB ITO PRODUCTION entity is in charge of the following scopes:

• IAAS (Infrastructure As A Service): Server / OS / Storage / Backup / Virtualization

• CAAS (Container As A Service): Containers / Middleware / Sharepoint

• PAAS (Platform As A Service): Databases / Data Analtics

• Infrastructure Services: Micro segmentation / Load Balancing / API gateway / Automation

• Risk & Improvement: Obsolescence / Security / Continuous improvement / ITIL Process

• For this position you will be integrated into the IAAS-VIRTUALIZATION team made up of around twenty EMEA people and in charge of products and services around virtualization technologies (VMWARE/NUTANIX) in a Production environment.
