The ISPL Financial Shared Services (FSS) Platform performs production and reporting activities delivered to onshore teams focused on fronting activities, and provides offshore support to nearshore teams, thus fostering standardization and Finance transformation. It is split into three components with the following missions: i.e. APAC Regional FSS, Global FSS and World Wide FSS

Position Purpose

Finance Transition manager will be responsible for managing all the transitions end to end which are coming from global locations and getting offshored to ISPL Mumbai / Chennai. 

Individual must possess strong expertise in the area of Transition & Project management and Stakeholder management

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

Transition Management Support –

-  Lead and drive transition along with developing comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as relevant stakeholders across the organization

-  Design Target operating Model, Create RACI and conduct risk assessments for migration of respective processes / services from various locations across globe to Finance shared services.

-  Must have strong stakeholder / client management skills i.e. ability to liase and coordinate with senior management i.e. Legal, Finance, Compliance, Tax, Admin, CEO’s / CFO’s etc.

-  Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis

-  Update and document all changes as per Organization procedure and change control framework. Conduct periodic reviews of relevant changes with change management board for approval

-  Ensure management of SLA (Service Level Agreements) for respective services across regions

-   Support projects across Finance in North America, UK, EMEA and APAC

-  Prepare project documents across the lifecycle of the project. Ex – Project charter, BRD, FSD, Change requests, Dashboards, Reporting etc.

-  Identify risks, issues and dependencies and track them to closure

-  Ensure timely stakeholder communication

-  Lead / Support Steerco/Opco Meeting and Dashboards 

-  Archive and maintain documents in SharePoint.

Technical –

-  Strong Project Management knowledge. PMP, Prince2 Certifications preferred.  

-  Strong understanding of reengineering tools. Lean, Six Sigma – Good to have skills.

-  Excellent People Management skills

-  Excellent Dashboard and Reporting skills

-  Excellent communication skills – Verbal and written

-  Strong attention to details

-  Ability to work under pressure

-  Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.


Specific Qualifications (if required)

8+ or more years of experience in project management / business analysis and / or reporting in financial service industry and over call 10+ years of Experience. 

-  Demonstrated ability to work and research/resolve issues independently while sharing best practices and knowledge with team members

-  Strong interpersonal skills, exceptional relationship building and influencing skills

-  Positive attitude and desire to work in a team-based collaborative environment

-  Former experiences within a Finance function in Banking and Financial Services
