Position Purpose
Provide a brief description of the overall purpose of the position, why this position exists and how it will contribute in achieving the team’s goal.
The Techno Functional Tester is responsible for conducting requirement-gathering sessions, identifying and designing test plans, writing detailed test cases by analyzing specific business processes and user requirements, testing deliverables and workarounds to meet client objectives. Tester should have technical skill to performance testing related activities.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
o Leading the team from start to end for testing phase of release.
o Test estimates.
o Test execution planning.
o Test designing,
o Test distribution, execution, its monitoring and sharing of periodic testing status reports.
o Write and understand Test Plan documents to be aligned with the governance.
o Define / upgrade test strategy and its documentation.
o Mentoring test team
o Test pack update / upgrade with ongoing prod release to avoid any issues in UAT, pre-prod environments.
o Work in close co-ordination with functional team / Business Analyst, Development team to Analyse test cases thoroughly to ensure adequate coverage of requirements.
o Proactive in identifying Risks, planning respective mitigation actions and ensuring till closure.
